LOU JAWITZ'S BIO

Louis Jawitz is a veteran New York professional photographer with many years of
experience in various aspects of commercial & Fine Art photography
As a young man, his first attaction to photography was in the Navy, since then he
has built a career doing advertising, travel and editorial assignments for major clients
in New York City, and Nationally for which he has won much recognition and many Awards.

In addition to assignment work, Mr. Jawitz has long been involved with producing stock
photography. His work has been marketed throughout the world by every recognized
Stock Photo Agency both previous and current, including; Age Foto Stock in Spain,
Digital Vision of London, Image Bank, Workbook Stock and currently Getty.

His personal work has been exhibited at many New York galleries and advertising
agencies, as well as Gallery Shows, including one-man shows at Nikon House in
New York City and at The Sullivan County Arts Center, where he has won several
awards over the past several years.

In 2001, he was published with 2 separate awards in Popular Mechanics Magazine,
one awarded by the Art Directors Club of New York.

Lou's editorial work has appeared in articles in Nikon World, Popular Photography,
Shutterbug and numerous other magazines.
Over the past several years, he has added digital skills to his photographic techniques.

Lou is widely known for his combination of his life long passion for automobiles
and his photography skills and his photos have appeared in all major
Automobile Magazines.

Mr. Jawitz has been written about as well as written several articles, including
The New York Times, Nikon World, Popular Mechanics, Popular Photography &
Shutterbug.
